What personal data does MetaAshes hold about me?
For your account, we hold your email address, a securely hashed version of your password, a record of your purchases and a verification history showing the firm assessed, the pathway, the verdict and the score for each assessment. The answers you give during an assessment are not stored.
What happens to documents I upload?
An uploaded email or letter is read once, by our AI service provider, to pre-fill the assessment for your review. MetaAshes does not store the document.
How is MetaAshes registered for data protection?
MetaFenix Management Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC187194. You can confirm this on the ICO's public register.
How do I exercise my data protection rights?
You can update your email address, change your password or permanently delete your account at any time from your account settings. For any other request, including a copy of the data we hold about you, send an enquiry using the subject "Data protection request".
Is there a subscription to cancel?
No. MetaAshes does not offer subscriptions. Every check pack is a single, one-off payment, so there are no recurring charges and nothing to cancel.
Can MetaAshes investigate a firm or recover my money?
No. MetaAshes is an independent information service, not a regulator, law enforcement agency or recovery service. Be wary of anyone who offers to recover lost money in return for a fee, as this is a common follow-up fraud.
